Class of 2006: Senior Class Clock
We would love to hear your feedback on the proposed design for the 2006 Davis Center Clock. Please take a look at the drawings and features and let us know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns by e-mailing Merin Maxwell in Alumni & Parent Programs: Merin.Maxwell@uvm.edu.

Davis Center Clock Features:
-Each of the clock's numerals appears to be magically illuminated yet the face is completely transparent.
-The clock will be sturdy, constructed of welded structural steel and finished in UVM green with 18K gold leafed accents
-A ten year backup battery will be provided to keep the clock running even in the event of power outages
-A remote controller will control the clock (via low voltage) from up to 300 feet away.
-The controller can also control numerous other clocks in the building at the same time.
-The numerals will be illuminated by highly efficient LED technology that uses very little electricity and runs continuously for many thousands of hours.
-A computer chip automatically adjusts for day light savings time (including the changes currently on the books in Congress).
-The hands and face are completely enclosed to discourage vandalism and make cleaning easy.
