First Site

The Pine Street Inn is a homeless shelter that focuses on helping their residents attain job skills and affordable housing.  Boston-area UVMers once again worked with the Pine Street Inn to cook and serve meals to the guests at the shelter, as well as organize food in the storage room.  For more information about Pine Street Inn, visit www.pinestreetinn.org.

Second Site

Since 1995, Citizen Schools has built a creative and effective learning model that addresses community needs while building student skills through hands-on experiential learning activities.  UVM volunteers at this site worked to clean up debris in the neighborhood where the Citizen Schools building is located.  For more information about Citizen Schools, visit www.citizenschools.org.
