Freeman Medical Scholars Program
The Freeman Medical Scholars Program at the UVM College of Medicine is supported by a generous gift to the College of Medicine from the Freeman Foundation. College of Medicine students who accept the scholarship make a commitment to practice medicine in Vermont. The Freeman Medical Scholars Program works to identify needs and practice opportunities in Vermont, to assist Freeman Scholars to meet their commitment. The list of openings reflects current openings in Vermont, by medical specialty and region of the state, although it is not complete.
Please contact Kristin McDonald, the Freeman Placement Specialist at Kristin.McDonald@med.uvm.edu, or call 800-442-3531, for more specific information about the positions listed here.
Kristin McDonald is also collecting information on anticipated future needs by medical specialty, so you may want to contact her to discuss anticipated needs for physicians in Vermont, even if you do not see a current opening in your medical specialty.
This list of openings is updated every time we learn of new openings, so check back regularly.
This posting is password protected and intended for Freeman Medical Scholars and other UVM College of Medicine graduates committed to practicing medicine in Vermont and not for independent recruiters.
