2006 Young Alumni Award Winners
Sarah Pitlak '99
SERVICE: As a student, Sarah Pitlak served as treasurer of her class as well as public relations chair. For the past seven years she has continued in a leadership role within her class, currently serving as class secretary. A past member of UVM's Boston Regional Board and the Young Alumni Committee, Sarah has also volunteered as an alumni admissions representative in the Boston area. She earned her B.S. from UVM in 1999 and currently works as director of trainings at Brazelton Touchpoints Center at Children's Hospital in Boston.
Erin Wilson '01
SERVICE: Erin Wilson has been actively involved at the University of Vermont since her undergraduate days. As a student, she served on the Senior Class Council, and since graduating in 2001 she has served on the Boston Events Committee, taking a lead role in bringing Boston-area alumni together. She served on the Young Alumni Committee as a fundraiser until 2004 and was co-chair for the class of 2001's fifth reunion. A client service manager in the corporate communications group for Bose Corporation in Framingham, MA, Wilson received her B.S. from UVM in 2001 and her M.B.A. from Boston University in 2005. In addition to her work on behalf of the University of Vermont, she volunteers with the Foundation Fighting Blindness in Boston.
Anu Yadav '96
SERVICE: Anu Yadav stepped into a leadership role at the University of Vermont while still a student, having been chosen to serve a two-year year term on the UVM Board of Trustees as a Student Trustee. After graduating, she pursued a law degree at the University of Connecticut and remains closely involved with UVM as an alumni leader. Currently living in the Boston area, Anu has become active in UVM's Boston Regional Board.:
