Student Ambassadors
Mission Statement
Student Ambassadors are a group of undergraduate student leaders who act as a link between the current student body and the alumni and special guests of the University. They are committed to promoting and celebrating the vast diversity of the campus community through interactions at a broad spectrum of University events.
The Student Ambassador program seeks engaged students who are able to speak from their experiences and looks for representation of the student body from all colleges, organizations, and identities to promote this leadership opportunity.
What We Do
UVM Student Ambassadors act as hosts at official university functions and share their experiences and views about current issues on campus. They assist in hosting campus events such as receptions at Englesby House, Commencement, convocation, Homecoming and Family Weekend receptions, Reunion events, and school and college Boards of Advisors receptions. They may also host individual campus visits for alumni or donors. Ambassadors should possess excellent communication skills, initiative, and be well acquainted with campus and its issues. This honorary position lasts for the duration of their undergraduate tenure.
