Students
You don't need to wait until after you graduate to get involved: current UVM students can participate in activities through the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, too! There are several ways to be active in alumni relations and fundraising activities, including:
- The Senior Class Council is one of our most vibrant student groups, comprising 20-30 leaders in the senior class.
- First Year, Sophomore, and Junior Class Councils: Currently we have a 2011, 2010, & 2009,Class Council. The Class Councils are all volunteer committees. The purpose of the councils is to build and maintain a sense of pride, identity, spirit and loyalty among members of the class through planning class events and serving the UVM community.
- The UVM Student Ambassadors are a group of student leaders who voluntarily act as hosts at official university functions and share their experiences and views about current issues on campus with various constituents. Click here for more information on how to apply.
- Looking for career advice? Register for the UVM Career Connection.
- Want a cool on-campus job? Find out about the Chatty Cats!
For more information about any of these activities, of for any questions you have about volunteering for Alumni Association activities, contact Alumni Relations now by e-mail or by phone at (802) 656-2010.
