A record number of academic, athletic, social and activities are planned for Homecoming & Family Weekend 2008, taking place October 2-5 in Burlington!
Alumni, parents, students, friends and community members are all invited to enjoy a quintessential Vermont fall weekend on campus.
Highlights of events planned for the weekend include
- Taste of Vermont celebration, featuring the Amber deLaurentis Band and free samplings of Vermont products, will bring back a taste of Octoberfest
- UVM’s Finest Hour, when some of UVM’s finest professors open their classrooms to attendees
- Anita Diamant, best-selling author of The Red Tent, will speak to Homecoming attendees
- Homecoming Parade and Family Picnic
- Soul Food Social
- Homecoming Fun Run
- Concerts all weekend
- Cruises on Lake Champlain
- Sailing Team Regatta
