Nick LeMon moved to Oregon last year and is currently manning a bar at the Lucky Labrador Brewing Co., and Adam Oransky is working as a loan officer. And last, but not least, Dana Beckman wanted to share her story of a chance meeting in Texas. Dana moved back to Texas, and she has been living in Austin for the past two years. As a Jazzercise instructor, she had become good friends with one of her students, Sheila Lerma, who regularly attended class with her husband. They all belonged to a larger group of friends who go out to dinner once a month. During one of those dinners, while Dana was telling a story about UVM, Sheila revealed that she too, was a UVM graduate. Sheila Crosby Lerma not only graduated from UVM in 1969, 34 years before Dana but was also a native Vermonter. They’ve since shared many stories from Vermont, and both are amazed at the chance meeting of alumni graduating 34 years apart in a Jazzercise class in Austin. Thank you all for sending in your stories—keep them coming, and, Happy Spring!
